'Zero waste' is a way of life that involves a commitment to using nothing that cannot be recycled or reused - creative and frugal responses to excessive consumption. It begins with avoiding plastic packaging, and can become an obsession. But a healthy one. Zero wasters are everywhere. They use cloth bags and make their own soap. They never eat ready meals. They grow their own food. They are constantly coming up with new ideas. It's something I'm only just beginning to explore. Another piece of the puzzle.
