Newly elected Labour mayor Andy Burnham has announced he is giving away 15% of his £110,000 salary to help start a fund to tackle homelessness in Manchester. Imagine a Tory doing that.
Here in my own constituency, the Liberal Democrat candidate has announced he will take no part in campaigning for the seat, encouraging us all to vote Labour instead. (Over on twitter, #NuttallOut is living its life as only a hashtag can do).
