Making #Compost in the Food Processor

Veg box subscriptions are great of course, but what to do with all those scraps?  I'm talking carrot tops, cabbage stalks, onion skins, all that sort of thing.  Well, compost the buggers, right?

Right.

I've decided to "hack" my compost by throwing all my scraps into the food processor and whizzing them up before returning them to the ground.  I'll throw my coffee grounds in there, too.  Anything except pickle juices, really.  (Salt and sugar won't be good for the soil pH).  What this gives you is a brown, unappealing sludgy sludge that the worms just fecking love.
